Fingers crossed for no snow...

I try not to be too party political and criticise the Lib Dem led Northumberland County Council. But NCC would test the patience of a saint.
Paul Tully has revealed in the Journal that five vital new road gritters needed for the looming winter, which were decided upon 6 months ago, will now not be delivered until AFTER Christmas. See also our local TV News
We are now quite literally in the position of having to cross our fingers and hope there is no snow before the New Year, when the gritters arrive. Madness.
It has been put down to "ineffective and inefficient use of time" in the Council's ordering process. Read the full story HERE
